I grew up at FCDA and one of the most valuable lessons I learned from my teachers there is to never underestimate myself and “I can’t” is not an option. With hard work and dedication anything is possible. I am grateful for these lessons and many more and I carry them with me in my personal and dance life every day. I hope to inspire and instill them in my students.
– Miss Martina
Growing up at this studio has taught me so many things, but the biggest thing I’ve learned is to never stop pushing myself. I learned to push myself through the hard times, the good times, the challenging times, and the exciting times to continue to grow and get better. I’ve learned to set goals for myself and when I achieve that goal, I set the next one. I’ve also learned how important it is to surround yourself with people who will challenge you to be the best version of yourself and support you along the way. I have developed an amazing support system at the studio, with my family, and in my career who won’t let me settle for less than I deserve, even on the days when I struggle to motivate myself. I am forever grateful for these valuable lessons.

I’ve learned many things since I’ve come to FCDA, but one thing my teachers have always stressed is to work towards a goal until it is achieved. Whether it be in the studio or outside, I have realized beyond doubt, that the possibilities are truly endless. I am grateful for my teammates who have proven to be more like a family and my teachers, especially, for shaping this team into what it’s become. I wish to encourage students to have confidence in themselves, because “dreaming big” can go such a long way.

I grew up at FCDA and I wouldn’t trade any of the memories and lessons for anything in the world. At this studio, dance is not just taught, life lessons are too! I’ve learned multiple things, but the most important thing I’ve learned is that I had the biggest support system from my teachers and teammates. I never knew I could be closer to my family at FCDA than my actual family. Throughout all my challenging times, good times, and hard times, I could always count on my dance family to be there and I could never explain how grateful I am for that! For my students, I wish to give them the best support system I can give to them and to be a great role model for them! We never give up at FCDA! ONE TEAM, ONE HEART, ONE FAMILY forever and always.
– Miss Rachel
FCDA has taught me so many valuable lessons in the dance world as well as the real world. One important thing that has stuck with me relating to dance is to go on stage ready to rock your number, have fun performing, and coming off knowing you did your absolute best without any regrets. As a competitive team, winning brings such an amazing feeling, but that’s not the true meaning of what we do. We do this because it’s our passion. FCDA always reminds us that winning isn’t what makes us happy, it’s about being a team and having the best time of our lives doing what we love!
– Miss Kloey
Through my many years of dancing and teaching, I’ve not only learned from the best how to dance, but learned many valuable lessons along the way. Dance has given me so much more than just dance. I’ve gained many beautiful friendships and family. I’ve learned to push myself to be the best I can be without any regrets. I’m grateful for the opportunities I have been given to share exactly what I gained with my own students and fellow teachers. It’s a beautiful life we have and I don’t take any of it for granted. I’m blessed to be where I am with who I am.
